BONTOC, Mountain Province -- – The clamor to pursue and continue the vision for Gawis ay Mountain Province is now official, as the son and namesake of the late Rep. Maximo B. Dalog has filed his certificate of candidacy for the position of congressman for the 2019 midterm elections.
Lawyer Maximo Jr. Y. Dalog is the second child among the six siblings. He is married to lawyer Mary Grace Manzano of Vigan, Ilocos Norte who is currently the assistant provincial prosecutor of the province. They are blessed with four children, two boys and two girls.
Dalog is an accountant and a lawyer as he is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Bachelor of Laws and Letters in 1999 and 2004 respectively at the Saint Louis University.
While pursuing his law course, he was a working student and was employed as an Accountant I at the Department of Agriculture. From 2008, he was employed as an Attorney V of the Department of Agrarian Reform, the position he held for 10 years before becoming the Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer of Mountain Province.
His stint to the said department ended as he filed his candidacy for the position of congressman and as he wishes to continue the vision for Gawis ay Mountain Province and desires to extend and expand his services to a larger populace, the constituents of the province.
Dalog filed his candidacy on Oct. 15, 2018 accompanied by his family, friends, and supporters.
He is the official candidate of Nacionalista Party.
